Hello! I'm Tracy Hannemann. Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you get to know me a little better from what you hear and see as you explore through my site. Instead of doing the usual bio, I decided to tell you about myself and my experience in a different way. I hope you enjoy.
My love for singing and performing has been inside of me since I can remember. I've studied jazz at the WI Conservatory of Music for 3 years under a wonderful teacher named Martha Artis. What a woman! Martha had 25 years of experience on the road as a single woman singing jazz and 27 years experience teaching at the Conservatory. She is the reason I am able to understand music theory, communicate with musicians, and song write on that level. I also studied opera at UW-Eau Claire and have some classical vocal training as well.
I have been singing with the Eddie Butts Band for a number of years. It has been a journey of learning on so many levels. Eddie Butts, a legend in his own right, has always been incredibly generous with me in his musical knowledge. I have had the opportunity to learn through example from his genuine love for and command of an audience. I am grateful to Eddie Butts for showing me how to stay determined, professional, generous and consistent. Working in the band for many years now, I have had the pleasure of opening for such national acts as Heart, Blues Traveler, Pat Benetar, Kool and the Gang, Huey Lewis & The News, Brian Setzer, KC & the Sunshine Band, Jeffrey Osborne, the Neville Brothers, and many others. I am and have been a professional jingle singer for many years. I also do voice over work as well. I have worked in various local studios, but mainly in Appleton, WI for Saxe Productions. You can listen to some samples of a few jingles and voice overs on this website.
Also, I have acting training from Susan Schoenfeld through UWM-outreach and on-camera training with Kate Frisina. I use these skills in my work with Ford/Aria talent agency here in Milwaukee. I have done modeling (print), on camera, industrial, website video and film work. Some of the companies include Miller, Harley Davidson, Simplicity, GE Healthcare, Mills Fleet Farm, S.C.
